She Loves Me She Loves Me Not is 1982’s annual porcelain bell and is fifth in the series following Let’s Sing, Farewell, Thoughtful and In Tune. On the back of this delightful bell is “1982” in bas relief, with the famous M.I. Hummel signature embossed. The bell is six inches in height and the oval base is four inches across at its widest point. On this Hummel bell’s front is a captivating little boy in a brown Bavarian cap. He is very colorfully dressed in a sky-blue checked shirt, red neckerchief and brown pants. Beside him are beautiful red flowers nesting in a patch of green grass. This fetching porcelain M.I. Hummel figurine #2002 called “Making New Friends” stands 6.75 inches tall. The adorable figurine is an endearing scene of a little brown-haired boy, with his cheeks a little flushed from the cold, playfully discovering the joys of winter, as he builds a snowman. He is bundled up in a cute lavender jacket and knit hat with pompom, plus matching orange mittens and scarf that is fluttering in the breeze. With his cold weather gear and green pants, he makes quite the colorful picture. The charming boy’s eyes are wide with wonder, as he regards his new snowy friend. He has built his snowman next to a small snow-covered pine tree.

 The lad has done a thorough job in adorning his new friend with four buttons of coal for his “coat”, coal for his eyes and a carrot for his nose. A distinguished black top hat with an orange band and a broom, for the snowman’s right hand, complete the look. As the child puts the finishing touches on his new friend, he is precariously balanced on a wooden sled. This charming, 1993, first edition Goebel/Hummel Angel Christmas ornament #646 stands 2 7/8 inches in height. Entitled “Celestial Musician”, this hard-to-find ornament is made of porcelain; hand painted with a matte finish and has a golden cord for hanging on your tree. This precious little angel wears a floor-length, green gown, adorned with yellow stars and a slim red band on the sleeve of her right arm. A brown satchel lies strapped across her body, resting against her right side. Her lovely golden brown hair swoops forward, as a flattering complement to her rosy cheeks. With her eyes glancing downward, lost in the music, she earnestly plays her violin, her right hand holding the bow. This eye-catching angel has gorgeous, crystal-like wings, delicately shaded in yellow and edged in vivid orange-red. The picture is of a darling little girl, wearing a blue kerchief with matching apron worn over a red checked dress. She is sitting prettily in a field filled with blue and yellow flowers. Her hair is in braids, tied at the end with red ribbon and perhaps there is a breeze blowing, because her braid is uplifted. In the girl’s hands are knitting needles, with her knitting project in red; the ball of yarn lying in the grass. There is a partial fence visible and behind it is a slender tree, with its graceful branches reaching above the child. Perched on a lower branch is a yellow bird, its mouth open in song. The little girl, eyes closed, is perhaps entranced and singing along. This appealing photo is one that could enhance in any room of your home and give you something to treasure for a lifetime!

 This delightful porcelain bell was painstakingly hand-painted and sculpted. The “Thoughtful” bell features an enchanting little boy, with tousled golden brown hair, wearing a light green shirt underneath a bright orange jacket. The “Dill” spice has an angelic little blond girl, with a bow in her hair, wearing a pretty blue apron. Dancing excitedly at her feet is a darling red dachshund to which the child, with her finger pointed, seems to be saying, “Now, now”. The jar of “Coriander” has a brother, dressed in a cute green shirt and brown shorts, and his little sister, wearing a vivid red dress with yellow apron. The protective little boy is holding a huge brown umbrella over his sister as they are buffeted by the wind and rain. “Basil” shows a darling little boy, with tousled brown hair, in a meadow of colorful red and yellow flowers. He is bent over one of the red flowers to take in its wonderful scent.

The other spices included are: Cream Of Tartar, Oregano, Thyme, Onion, Celery Salt, Cinnamon, Parsley, Rosemary, Garlic, Marjoram, Allspice, Nutmeg, Ginger, Chives, Bay Leaves, Cayenne Pepper, Chili Powder, Cloves, Dry Mustard, Paprika and Tarragon. These stunning spice jars may be displayed on a three-shelved, wooden spice rack, with a graceful arch at the top and a pull-out drawer at the bottom. The little boy’s mouth is open to sing a tune. In his hands is an accordion and perched on its end, is a blue bird with its mouth open, singing along. The date, “1978” is in large red numbers on the back of the bell and at its base is the famous signature, “M.I. Hummel”. Inside the bell, printed in blue is: “First Edition, Annual Bell, HUM700, HANDCRAFTED, Goebel, W. Germany, 1977”.
