Adorable 1986 Hummel Annual Plate, Mint, In Original Box!

This popular plate, dated 1986 and entitled “Playmates”, is 16^th in the Goebel/ Hummel 25-plate annual series. Made of porcelain, it measures approximately 7 ½” in diameter. This Hummel plate is in mint condition and even comes with the original box. In bas relief, is a chubby-cheeked, smiling little boy. Atop his playfully tousled brown hair, rests a green alpine hat, with a feather jauntily sticking up from an orange flower on its brim. Only the tied ends of an orange scarf are visible around his neck, matching the flower in color. The boy’s dark green jacket, white shirt and light green pants complete his ensemble.

You can readily see that he is at ease, happily sitting in the grass with beautiful orange flowers around him. The cherubic boy holds at his side a brown basket carrying two darling white rabbits. Being carefully held with his left arm, so it doesn’t escape, is a third creamy-white rabbit. The date “1986” is in large red numerals, underneath the child. The famous Hummel signature is set into the plate, curving around the scene and the name of the company is stamped on the back. Charming Goebel/Hummel 1978 Christmas Bell, With Original Box

Check out this delightful 1978 Goebel/Hummel Christmas Bell! It is in perfect condition, includes the bell tag, and comes in its original box. This lovely porcelain Christmas bell is the first issue in its series, entitled “Lets Sing”. Its height is approximately 6” with a 4” width. This exquisite annual bell is in bas relief—for those not in the know, this means that the figure on the bell projects slightly from the background. On the front of the bell is an adorable young boy, sitting contently in the grass. Around his neck is an orange scarf and he is looking ever so colorful in a green shirt with blue shorts.

The little boy’s mouth is open to sing a tune. In his hands is an accordion and perched on its end, is a blue bird with its mouth open, singing along. The date, “1978” is in large red numbers on the back of the bell and at its base is the famous signature, “M.I. Hummel”. Inside the bell, printed in blue is: “First Edition, Annual Bell, HUM700, HANDCRAFTED, Goebel, W. Germany, 1977”. This beautiful bell is the result of a partnership between Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, Franz Goebel and the Convent of Siessen. Goebel saw Hummel’s wonderful artwork and he then knew that the world needed to look through her eyes and see the gentle innocence of children she depicted. MI Hummel Figurine Collectible Apple Tree Boy 4"

You can't really afford to miss out on this superb Hummel figurine, Apple Tree Boy. Made of porcelain in West Germany, it depicts a little boy sitting in an apple tree, along with a bluebird. This genuine M.I. Hummel design was crafted, based on the artwork of the celebrated artist, Maria Innocentia Hummel, by the W. Geobel Company. The Apple Tree Boy series was initially designed in 1940 by the master sculptor, Arthur Moeller, and the Last Bee marking on the base of this Hummel figurine, indicates that it was crafted between 1972 and 1979. The figurine is 4" tall and 2.25" wide, and is in excellent condition, and has no chips, cracks, or crazing. The figurine also has the Goebel back stamp as well as the signature of Maria Innocentia Hummel, and includes the original label.
